What I do
My main focus is pancreas, bile duct and gallbladder disease: stones, pancreatitis, cysts, blockages and growths. I also look after the full range of stomach, bowel and liver problems.
I personally perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), therapeutic EUS, POEM and other therapeutic endoscopy.
How I practise
- Explain first, decide together. You should understand why a test or procedure is suggested, what else could be done, and what happens if we wait.
- No unnecessary tests. Scopes are for symptoms, risk or screening, not routine "packages".
- Honest about risk. Every procedure has benefits and risks, and I'll tell you both in plain numbers.
- Self-care where it works. Many gut problems settle with simple habit changes, and I'd rather teach you those than prescribe.
- In your language. I consult in English, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and Bengali.
